Trail To Transformation – Focus on Yourself

Today we start on a journey of transformation. This is the first blog in a series that will lead you down a path towards personal change. If you are not 100% happy with your life, then follow me. We will walk along concepts to bring you to a better state of mental & physical health, and well-being.

Can you answer yes to one or more of these questions?

  1. Do you feel like you have you have entered a jail cell and the door has closed behind you? The ball and chains are not allowing you move freely and you are tied to your job or situation.
  2. Your personal batteries are almost dead and need recharged.
  3. Failing to say no has you spreading the butter of your life to thin and time is slipping away leaving you unable to catch up?

Can you answer yes to more than one of these questions? If so, let’s walk down the path of transformation with me in the upcoming weeks.

The transformation trail will lead you to taking charge of your life because you want to gain your freedom back. My ultimate goal is to help you find your “one thing” or your bigger picture. In the upcoming weeks we will be hiking the trail of your life. Only you can make the experience better for yourself if you choose to. Joining the hike can transform your life so can build more enjoyable relationships, have meaningful engagements, release the ball and chains, and recharge your batteries. The most important part is discovering your newfound freedom.

This journey is not for you if:

  • Do not want an experience that will take you out of your comfort zone.
  • Want to be a participant of your life instead of a leader

Are you ready for our hike? Grab your pack, some water and let’s go. Here is the first step in your trail prescription to better mental and physical health. Taking this first step starts your lifelong transformational process.

  1. Focus On Yourself

    Seems like a simple concept but so many us don’t know how to do this. We put our co-workers, family and friends wishes before our own. The one important life lesson I learned many years ago as an outdoor guide is that you need to take care of yourself first. Taking care of yourself properly means that you have the strength to take care of others and their needs. If you fail to take care of yourself, you will fail in at meeting anyone’s needs and potentially risk other people’s lives as well as your own.

  2. Commit to yourself.

    Commit to loving yourself, your surroundings one hundred percent and live wholeheartedly with intention. Celebrate the little things and view challenges as opportunities. Start small and pace yourself. Develop a habit of committing to what makes you feel good every day.

  3. Practice Self Love

    Start fresh today and practice self-love every day for the rest of your life. Let go of negative influences that leave you feeling drained. Pay attention to triggers that set up feelings of dread. Move towards HAPPY.

When you start focusing on number one, the rest will start falling into place. If you want to take it to the next level of transformation, treat yourself and book a trip to Utah, Montana or Alaska.
